Phyrexian Song Cycles

The Phyrexian Song Cycles documents seven songs about the culture and language of Phyrexians, creatures from Magic: The Gathering. These beings are characterized by grotesque, cybernetic aesthetics, with body parts replaced or augmented by mechanical components such as metallic limbs, tubes, and wires. Their anatomy reflects a blend of decay, corruption, and mechanical integration.

Fish Study I. encapsulates three primary empirical cases of marine water fish communication. Inspired by my grumpy 7-month-old betta Roi, this sound study delves into the physical vibrational interactions among fish underwater, envisioning potential topics of their gossip.

Φ is the symbol for Phyrexians, creatures that exhibit a grotesque and twisted aesthetic, with body parts replaced or augmented by mechanical components. These organisms possess metallic limbs, tubes, wires, or other mechanical features integrated into their anatomy, revealing a sense of decay, corruption, and a cybernetic nature. Written in the language of Phyrexia, this piece offers an auditory voyage through this realm of depravity while also documenting the revelations of Thrun, the Last Troll, who remained silent during the invasion of Phyrexia.

It is another day in Call of Duty 2v2 gunfight when my teammate ferociously expresses their frustration through my headset by swearing after getting smoked by the enemy team. “you fucking campers”

Although, it is probably better that teammate @hotsauce9_6755 doesn’t quit the match from hearing my voice; not saying “gril gamer? go bring me FOOD, Woman! You Fat BitcH go play sims”, and not kicking me out to the lobby, so I must not talk back.

Stay silence, I am breathing silently.

The piece intends to excavate some of my sound memories from the past—the Beiguan music in specific.
